Laura Zeman is the principal of Zeman Law Group. She practices in the areas of estate planning and probate, charitable planning and business planning. She has lectured on related topics before the Washington State Bar Association, the King County Bar Association and other professional groups. She has been the principal of Zeman Law Group for 9 years. Prior to opening Zeman Law Group, Laura practiced law for seven years at a large Seattle law firm.

Bradley Van Vechten

Brad is an independent, fee-only, Registered Investment Advisor specializing in helping families and small to mid-size business owners to plan and manage their financial needs. He founded Private Wealth Management Solutions in 2013 after a brief stint with Charles Schwab’s Bellevue Branch. Brad sold his financial planning and investment management practice in 2010 in order to move to the Seattle area Northern California, where he went to school and became involved in the financial services industry back in 1994. Brad offers two separate and distinct services: Financial Planning (for an hourly rate) and Wealth Management (based on a fixed annual percentage of the assets he helps clients manage).

Having started her career as a CPA, Marla has over 35 years’ experience in the service sector of the Puget Sound region’s business community. Marla is accredited as a Certified Senior Advisor. Having a well-rounded background enables her to address the key needs and issues of mature adults.
In memory of her grandparents and parents, Marla started Andelcare as a way of giving back.
In 2012, Marla was designated Washington’s Small Business Person of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration.

David M. Griffith

Originally from Spokane, Washington, he graduated from Washington State University with Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He lived in Wyoming and Montana, seeking out the great outdoors before returning back to Washington. He has been involved in personal financial planning with Northwestern Mutual Life since 1996 and has earned CLU, (Chartered Life Underwriter) ChFC,(Chartered Financial Consultant), CASL (Chartered Advisor for Senior Living), and RICP (Retirement Income Certified Planner) designations.
Dave is a member of the Rotary Club of Downtown Kirkland and serves on the board of East King County Estate Planning Council. He is a blood Donor advocate and coordinated seven blood drives and is a member of the 6 gallon donation club. Dave is also an avid snow skier and golf enthusiast. He is married to Kris, for over 35 years. They reside in Kirkland and have two children, Colson and Linden. They are waiting for their first grandkids, but stopped holding their breath.

Terry Dam has been the Executive Director of EKCEPC since 1997. Since then, she has enjoyed assisting the organization as its membership has nearly tripled. Terry oversees the administrative tasks required to present our five meetings held each year. She is a graduate of the University of Washington and an ardent NFL fan.
