Kyle began his career in private wealth management with UBS in 2006. Since then, he has dedicated himself to helping clients attain their financial goals and aspirations. As a partner within The Cascade Group, he acts as the team’s Chief Operating Officer and Co-Chief Investment Officer. He is responsible for customized portfolio construction, investment research and management of the team and its specialists.

Margaret is a Trust and Fiduciary Specialist with First Republic Investment Management. She focuses on trust and wealth transfer needs for ultra high net worth families and individuals. She advises multi-generational families on the complexities of transitioning wealth and brings solutions by aligning their trust and estate plan, financial plan, and investment plan with their legacy goals. She brings over 20 years of experience working with clients and their complex financial needs.
Margaret has been active in the community with the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center Planned Giving Advisory Committee, the National Association of Asian American Professionals, and KING Aquatic Club Boosters.

Mark McBride, an attorney with the firm's Trust & Estate Planning practice, advises individuals and families in all aspects of trust and estate planning, focusing specifically on multi-generational planning. Mark routinely assists individuals and families to minimize estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes through the creation of wills, trusts, business entities and charitable organizations and the use of gifts, sales and other wealth transfer strategies. Mark works closely with his clients’ advisors, including accountants, investment advisors and insurance agents, to ensure the client's goals are accomplished in the most common sense and coordinated manner. Mark also represents executors, trustees and other fiduciaries to effectively and efficiently administer trusts, estates, business entities and charitable organizations.
Renee Hawkes has more than twenty- two years of experience in the financial industry helping high net-worth individuals and families achieve their financial and personal goals. Over the course of her career, she has developed special expertise in helping women in transition, families with multi-generational wealth and the charitably-inclined manage the impact of their wealth and assure that their financial planning strategies meet their goals.

When Gina Chang joined Hellam Varon in 2008, she brought with her ten years of experience in tax and a particular interest in helping families and individuals through the difficult transitions in life. This focus made her a shoo-in for the firm’s large estate and trust practice.
Today, as a shareholder, Gina heads the estate and trust group, specializing in estate planning and taxation, trust income tax planning, fiduciary accounting, and gifting. She loves introducing new clients to Hellam Varon. “We are so different from other firms. Clients don’t realize that until they experience us,” she comments. Gina believes strongly in operating on the clients’ behalf as part of their broader advisory team. David M. Griffith

Originally from Spokane, Washington, he graduated from Washington State University with Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He lived in Wyoming and Montana, seeking out the great outdoors before returning back to Washington. He has been involved in personal financial planning with Northwestern Mutual Life since 1996 and has earned CLU, (Chartered Life Underwriter) ChFC,(Chartered Financial Consultant), CASL (Chartered Advisor for Senior Living), and RICP (Retirement Income Certified Planner) designations.
Dave is a member of the Rotary Club of Downtown Kirkland and serves on the board of East King County Estate Planning Council. He is a blood Donor advocate and coordinated seven blood drives and is a member of the 6 gallon donation club. Dave is also an avid snow skier and golf enthusiast. He is married to Kris, for over 35 years. They reside in Kirkland and have two children, Colson and Linden. They are waiting for their first grandkids, but stopped holding their breath.

Steve practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, and elder law. He brings a compassionate, yet pragmatic, approach to his representations, focusing on helping clients understand their legal issues. The guiding principal of Steve’s practice is that legal representation is a collaboration between the client and the attorney. Terry Dam has been the Executive Director of EKCEPC since 1997. Since then, she has enjoyed assisting the organization as its membership has nearly tripled. Terry oversees the administrative tasks required to present our five meetings held each year. She is a graduate of the University of Washington and an ardent NFL fan.
